The Architectural Control Committee is setup as defined in the Lighthouse Pointe Covenants and consists of volunteers (primarily your neighbors) who review ACC applications from property owners.

See our neighborhood documents on the Property Owner Documents page for items that apply.
In general, a change to anything about your home that your neighbors can see or may be impacted by, or can be seen from the roadway
must be presented to the ACC.

  • IMPORTANT!  Santa Rosa County (and in support of the Florida Building Code) has building/improvement restrictions on certain items.  It is the property owner's responsibility to assure all required applications, permits and inspections take place!

Examples:

  • changing or adding shutters, exterior paint, siding, roof, etc.
  • adding or replacing a fence
  • landscaping/re-landscaping your yard
  • modifying your yard such that rain drainage flow changes
  • adding a pool
  • changing your mailbox
  • adding a deck, porch, etc.
  • adding/moving a shed/storage structure (see Santa Rosa County Accessory Exemption Requirement)
  • making an addition to your home (rooms, screened porch, etc.)
  • replacing your roof

You need to send in an ACC Application Form and a diagram of your lot layout (example of submission) showing home placement, and highlighting proposed change/improvement location (does not have to be a work of art, hand drawn is fine), and a description of the modification.  That's all that is required.    It is recommended that you allow at least 2 or 3 weeks for a reply (remember the ACC members are volunteers), however, your application will be reviewed as quickly as possible.  There is no intent to hold up your improvement.  You may snail mail your input to:

Or you may print out the application, complete it, scan it and your lot layout plan to a PDF file and submit the form below:
