Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office
The Sheriff's Office asked that we pass on the following information:
"The Sheriff's Office has received several complaints involving vehicles in this area. The complaints are of personal items being stolen out of vehicles. We are requesting your assistance in solving these crimes and preventing future crimes. The burglaries were to UNLOCKED vehicles! Please be alert to any suspicious vehicles and/or people frequenting this area. Notify the Sheriff's Office if any unusual circumstances arise or unknown people are within your neighborhood so we can investigate and identify possible suspects. Please secure your homes and vehicles and remove/secure any cash, keys or valuables.
If you need any further information or assistance please contact the Navarre District Office at 981-2250."

Emergency Numbers on Cell Phones
Santa Rosa County Sheriff, Wendell Hall is urging everyone to take a moment and consider adding an ICE (In Case of Emergency) number to their cell phones. June is National Safety Month and it is the perfect time to ICE your phone as an easy and quick way to save a life. To make this even simpler his agency has developed forms for you to complete. Place a copy in your wallet and in your glove box and give copies to your emergency contact(s). These are attached to the alert. Click here for the ICE ALERT and the forms. The Sheriff says to please feel free to copy as many of these as you need and encourage your family and friends to ICE their phones.
