Lighthouse Pointe Homeowners Association, Inc. Clean Up and Pitch In Days 2007 Since assuming responsibility for the community in March of this year, the Homeowners Association has accomplished many goals. These include major efforts to beautify the entrance island and other common areas, clean up the water and tot parks, and screen the retention areas with Pampas Grass. These projects were all accomplished by Lighthouse Pointe volunteers! These folks volunteered their time and effort in the interest of helping us all have a better place in which to live. The work that has been done was submitted to landscape contractors for bids before we undertook the projects ourselves, and the lowest bid was approximately $10,000. By buying the supplies and doing the work through volunteers, we saved about $7,500 of Association funds. We have photos from two of these events: Our Latest Cleanup and Planting, October, 2007 The following is a list of the folks who helped us beautify our neighborhood during these three events AND save money for the Association. If you know them, say "Thank You" personally. If we've left someone off this list so we can make sure everyone who did participate is recognized. Thanks again to these fine folks for a job well done!! Pedro, Jean, J. B. and Tisha Adames
